Satellite radio and expanded availability of curtain side airbags make 2004 news for Honda's popular midsize car. Accord offers sedans and coupes with 4-cyl or V6 power in LX and upscale EX trim, plus a price-leader 4-cyl DX sedan. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard on 4-cyl models and a 5-speed automatic is optional. The automatic is standard on V6s except the sporty EX V6 coupe, which also offers a 6-speed manual. It also comes with 17-inch wheels vs. 16s or 15s on other Accords. ABS is standard on all models; V6s add traction control. Front side airbags are standard on V6s and the 4-cyl EX, and are available on LX models. Head-protecting curtain side airbags are standard on EX V6s and available on EX 4-cyl models. EXs offer a navigation system with voice control for navigation, audio, and climate functions .
